Volunteering plays a very important role for Advocacy Western Isles.

Advocacy Western Isles welcomes volunteers and the different that they can make; both in the life of the organisation, and with the people we support.

If you want to assist the organisation in this way, then please feel free to contact us and we can discuss what it means to be a volunteer at Advocacy Western Isles and some of the roles available

Opportunities exist for the following roles:.

Promotion of service to the wider community

Supporting group work
Producing newsletters
Assisting the organisation at events.

We ask our Advocacy Volunteers to complete a Basic Advocacy Skills Training Course. We also provide our Volunteers with ongoing support and supervision with access to any relevant training available locally.

Cases are always allocated according to an individual's experience and skills.
