Advocacy Access is a one-year project that launched in May 2026 with the aim of improving access to services for people with disabilities throughout the Western Isles.

Please take a few minutes to complete our Advocacy Access Survey and share your experiences and ideas. Your feedback will help shape future meetings and ensure that the issues and concerns that matter most to you are heard and represented at both local and national levels.

Alongside the survey, we will continue to attend groups and host meetings in communities, from the Butt to Barra, which begun in June 2026. We encourage anyone with a physical disability or mental disability, including dementia-related conditions and learning difficulties, to join us, as well as those who care for, support or work with people with disabilities. This is a great opportunity for you to have your voices heard, and for us to work with you to influence decision-making in the future to improve accessibility for everyone.

If you are interested in attending a meeting or would like to know more about the project, please follow the link below to register.

If you’d like to discuss support with transport in order to attend an event, or if you’d like to join a meeting virtually please get in touch by email or by calling 01851 701755.

We will update this page with dates, times, venues and other information about upcoming events.
